Colour and Measurements
Here at Home Comforts Instant Neighbour, we take great care to photograph and measure all our donated items to reflect them as accurately as possible. Because of the way that colours are represented on different computer and mobile screens, the items may not be exactly the same colour as shown on your screen. All measurements are in cm and taken using a standard tape measure. Please ensure that you have measured correctly for the item to fit as we do not accept any returns or offer refunds if your purchased item does not fit.

Online Store Delivery

Home Comforts Instant Neighbour's van drivers offer a professional covid safe delivery service and will take the utmost care of your items. We are able to offer delivery for a fee of £15 for up to 5 items within 20 miles of Aberdeen City Centre.

If you have selected to have your item(s) delivered, once you have paid for your order, please call us on 01224 489955 during office hours to arrange delivery of your item(s).
It is your responsibility to contact Instant Neighbour to arrange delivery of your purchased items.
We aim to deliver your items to you as soon as possible but always within 30 days of placing your order.

Free Click and Collect

You are able to collect paid-for goods by appointment only.

You will be asked to book your appointment during checkout, prior to your payment being processed.

Cancellation Policy
By law, if your order totals £42 or more, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery of your purchase. You do not have to give a reason for cancelling. To initiate a cancellation, please contact us on 01224 489955 or In your email, please give us as much information as possible, including order number, date of purchase, items purchased and total.

Returns & Refunds Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 30 days to request a return from the date that you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned to us in the same condition that you received it together with proof of purchase.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. As soon as we have inspected the item, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

Refunds will be be given to the original method of payment. Cash refunds or credit notes can NOT be given for purchases made through the online shop. As per Shopify and banking procedures, refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 Physical Stores
Our shops are now open in line with Scottish Government guidelines. Please follow the advice of staff who are happy to welcome you back to our shops. Masks must be worn unless exempt. Please adhere to social distancing.

*Please note that items available to buy on the online shop can NOT be viewed in our shops at St Machar Drive or Great Western Road. Each shop has their own stock and online items are not at either of these premises.
